School Games Mark

What is the School Games Mark?

The School Games mark is a Government led awards scheme launched in 2012 to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition, PE, leadership & school sport across their school and into the community.

Schools in England are able to assess themselves across bronze, silver, gold and platinum levels of the Kitemark.

All registered schools are able to apply for the school games mark for the current academic year and further information is available via the school dashboard, the customised content portal for all schools logged in to the website.

The School Games Mark is currently on hold. The School Games Mark Framework, a self-review development tool, is running in its place. You can access this via your dashboard (where you normally apply for the SG Mark).
