SSP Eco Squad formed

We are excited to have set up our very first Eco squad within the partnership. 

The SSP Eco Squad was created by our 39 members from 9 schools last academic year was a huge success. Our logo was designed and created by our members, 

Our Eco members are made up of representatives from all of our primary schools in Southend who are passionate about becoming more Eco friendly and more sustainable.  We all know the importance about making choices that enable us to all live more sustainably. 

Members of the board work together to represent their school and our city in order to help us as a sports partnership to look at ways that we can be more mindful about our impact at sporting fixtures in order to become more Eco friendly. Board members are the pupil voice on behalf of their school, and it will be down to them to share these opinions and discuss them with other members and to look at ways that we can implement changes. 

All Eco squad members were given a Jacket and an Eco Friendly pin badge to wear with pride.
